Influencer Fernanda Britto, 64, known on social media for her videos about etiquette, died this Wednesday morning (12/18). She had been hospitalized at Casa de Saúde São José, in Rio de Janeiro, since December 4th, with an extremely serious neurological condition. The family informed that Fernanda Britto will be cremated in a ceremony closed only to family members and those close to her.

The information was confirmed by people close to us. Last week, Fernanda Britto’s team published a note on social networks asking for prayers from fans and followers. “Dear friends and followers, little by little we grew, but we never stopped being a community that values good communication, affection and a current of positive energy”, says the text published on Instagram.
“And it is in the name of these principles! We need to say that our dear Fernanda is hospitalized, facing another delicate moment in her health. We ask, from the bottom of our hearts, that you send prayers, loving thoughts and lots of loving and healing energy to her. We know how much she loves interacting with you and the strength that everyone always gives her”, concluded the note.
On Friday (13/12), friends of Fernanda Brito stated that the family and the hospital were neglecting her health care. They informed columnist Leo Dias that the influencer would only have stayed in the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) on the day of the transfer, and would then have been sent to her room, even with her health condition delicate. The family, in turn, denied any negligence.
Fernanda Britto fell ill and had a stroke in the early hours of November 22nd. The day before, she was in Curitiba for a professional appointment. The famous woman, still lucid, got in touch with her friend and partner Kadu, who, in turn, called her sister Martha, in Brasília.
Fernanda Britto was transferred to Rio de Janeiro on December 4th and arrived at the Casa de Saúde, where she was hospitalized, very weak. With more than 1.7 million followers on Instagram alone, the influencer rose to prominence by making humorous videos about etiquette. In October, she celebrated two years of her channel. “I’m very happy to have you with me throughout this journey,” he said.
