Waves is the third feature film by director Jiří Mádl, who is also the author of the script. The story is based on real events from the late sixties during the Prague Spring. In the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Mádlove Vlny is one of the most successful films of this year. It was already seen by a million viewers in Czech and Slovak cinemas.
