A CBS anchor was unable to hide her emotion when reporting live on the unexpected death of a colleague. Ana Orsini, presenter of the channel since June 2023, passed away last week, aged 28, victim of a brain aneurysm.
Tyler Butler and Carsyn Currier were responsible for breaking the sad news during Monday’s morning broadcast. Carsyn, visibly shaken, explained that they were both dressed in pink in honor of their colleague, as it was her favorite color. During the announcement, Tyler held his co-worker’s hand, in a gesture of support in an emotionally charged moment.
“Ana was part of our family and we are devastated by her loss,” said Carsyn, in a heartfelt tribute that quickly generated a wave of solidarity among viewers and the channel’s team.
