This year’s government will reach the mark of 50,233 housing units built under the Casa Paulista program, in two years of the (Republicans) mandate.
This Friday (20), there will be the delivery of another 2,310 apartments in the Reserva Raposo residential complex, west of São Paulo.
According to the São Paulo Executive, it is the best performance for a first two-year term in history. The previous mark was 46,537 units delivered in 1991 and 1992.
The Department of Urban Development and Housing also says that the mark surpasses that of the previous government, of João Doria and Rodrigo Garcia, when 49,700 units were delivered in four years.
Another 103,000 homes are under construction, with a goal of delivering 200,000 units by 2026.
