two people they died this Tuesday when a small plane crashed into an abandoned building near the airport in Honolulu, capital of Hawaii (USA), authorities reported.
The aircraft collided with a building on Ualena Street shortly after 3:00 p.m. local time (1:00 GMT on Wednesday), state governor Josh Green said in a statement. Green added that the streets surrounding the plane crash were closed. but the Honolulu airport facilities remain operational. The governor assured that his “heart” is with him. the pilot and passenger of the aircraft, who according to authorities died instantlyand with their families.
According to the Star Advertiser newspaper, the crashed aircraft was a single-turboprop Cessna Caravan that was headed to the nearby island of Lanai.
