“We will soon reach a consensus”, says Joabe about the dispute for the presidency of the City Council

The elected councilor of Rio Branco, Joabe Lira (UB), was certified during a session of the Regional Electoral Court this Tuesday (17).

At the event, he spoke to ContilNet about his candidacy in the race for President of the City Council. Joabe declared that he continues to dialogue with other parties and believes in a ‘consensus’ with the allied parties. In addition to him, Mayor Tião Bocalom’s base has Elzinha Mendonça and Samir Bestene, both from the PP, with names made available.

Also at the diploma event, Mayor Tião Bocalom officially announced for the first time that Joabe Lira is his candidate in the dispute for the presidency of the House. He also argued that there will be a consensus among his base on a final definition.
