1. Onions

According to the expert, keeping onions in the refrigerator can lead to mold growth. Thus, he explains that excess moisture in onions provides the perfect environment for fungal spores to grow. They can cause vomiting, stomach cramps and diarrhea if consumed. The recommendation is to store in a cool, dark and dry place, such as a closet.

2. Garlic

Garlic can sprout and become rubbery. Furthermore, he explains that they can also create molds and fungi that are harmful to health, especially the intestinal flora.

3. Potatoes

Potatoes are another food that can harm our health if stored in the refrigerator. The explanation is that refrigeration causes starches to convert to sugars, resulting in a sweeter flavor and gritty texture. Not to mention that it becomes withered.

4. Lemon
