The Ministry of Finance informed in a note this Thursday morning (19) that there is no information about the departure of the Secretary of the National Treasury, Rogério Ceron, who remains in charge of the department subordinate to Finance.
“Any information other than this must be ignored”, highlighted the special Social Communication advisor of the Ministry of Finance in the note.

The day before, Ceron participated in a meeting with Finance Minister Fernando Haddad and representatives from the rating agency Standard and Poor’s (S&P).
Haddad and Ceron also met with pension fund presidents. Present were João Fukunaga, from the Banco do Brasil Employees’ Pension Fund; Ricardo Pontes, from the Federal Economists Foundation; Henrique Jäger, from the Petrobras Social Security Foundation; and Camilo Fernandes dos Santos, from the Supplementary Pension Institute.
Last Wednesday (18), the authorization for the removal of the Undersecretary of Public Debt at the National Treasury, Otávio Ladeira, was made official in the Official Gazette of the Union (DOU). He will leave his position at the beginning of next year, after having been approved in a selection process for the United Nations (UN) that began in April.
