The manager assured that all cases are mild and there is no need for hospitalization.

“Constant monitoring of this is being carried out. The cases are all mild, fortunately. The situation room, which was installed to combat dengue, is being used to plan actions against Covid as well”, highlighted Pedro.

The situation room has been set up since December 9th.

“No case got worse. The ICUs remain without serious cases, thanks to vaccination. After mass vaccination, we had no worsening of cases”, he concluded.

At the end of the interview, Pedro stated that immunization against the virus is available in Basic Health Units (UBS).

“We have no other way to beat this virus and the possibility of worsening conditions. The vaccine is the only way out, combined with the conventional forms of prevention that we already know”, he concluded.
