Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth had its long-awaited PC version announced during The Game Awards 2024 event on the night of December 12, confirming the game’s release for January 23, 2025. Square Enix’s acclaimed RPG, previously exclusive to the PlayStation 5 (PS5 ) will bring your adventures to computers with lots of extras. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will arrive on PC through the digital stores Steam and Epic Games Store for the price of R$ 319.90, but with a 30% discount on pre-sale, costing R$ 223.93 until the day of its launch.
The second chapter in the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth remake trilogy continues the story after Final Fantasy 7 Remake, right after the protagonist Cloud, along with his friends Barret, Tifa, Aerith and Red XIII escape from the city of Midgar. The group is faced with a large world to explore in interconnected open areas as they pursue the villain Sephiroth who wants to destroy the entire world and try to put an end to the Shinra company that is extracting the world’s life force. The gameplay maintains the more action-oriented battle system of FF7 Remake with new features such as joint attacks activated by the synergy between the characters on your team.
The PC version of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth promises to bring three levels of graphics with support for improved lighting, improved models and textures, scenes with more details, support for Nvidia DLSS performance technology, frame rates of up to 120 FPS and refresh rate variable (VRR). It will also be possible to connect a PS5 DualSense joystick to take advantage of its haptic functions and the team is working on making the game compatible with the Steam Deck portable PC.
