The delegate responsible for the Department of Criminal Investigations (DEIC), Fábio Caipira, said that governor Tarcísio de Freitas is “upset” with the latest events related to the public security department and decided to remove him until the case is clarified.
Caipira said that he spoke with the Secretary of Public Security, Guilherme Derrite, and that he heard that the SSP knows that he “is not involved in the case”. For the delegate, the accusations presented by Grietzbach are not supported by the existing evidence.
Fábio also announced that both he and deputy Delegado Olim (PP) will sue lawyer Ramsés Benjamin Samuel Costa Gonçalves for slander.
