The president of the Chamber of Deputies, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), said this Thursday (19) that the Annual Budget Bill (PLOA) for the year 2025 should be voted on this week in a Congress session.
“The expectation is that Congress will meet this week to discuss the 2025 budget,” Lira declared to TV Câmara after the plenary session.
The possibility was also raised by the president of the Senate, Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG), who does not rule out discussing the topic.
Due to the parliamentary recess, which begins next Monday (23), the last working day of Congress activities would be Friday (20).
Some of the proposals analyzed by Congress this week change rules that would influence the analysis of the 2025 Budget, such as the spending cut package.
