The body of Renilce Firmino de França, aged 23, was found, in the early hours of Friday (20), near a battery store, on BR-317, in the municipality of Epitaciolândia, in Acre. According to information from the incident report, the victim was lying next to a bicycle.

The Military Police were called at around 2:13 am by the Military Police Operations Center (Copom), after a person went to the Fire Department Headquarters and reported the presence of a man lying on the highway. A Firefighter team was the first to arrive at the scene and found that the man, in a prone position, had no vital signs.
After confirming the death, the area was isolated for forensic work. According to the preliminary report, no puncture marks, cuts or any sign of violence were identified on the body.
The Civil Police have been informed and will take over the investigations to determine the circumstances of the death. The body was collected and taken to the Legal Medical Institute (IML), where it will undergo tests that should identify the cause of death.
