Night fire in Bratislava: Three passenger cars burned down, the damage is worth thousands of euros

Thursday night three passenger cars burned at a car service in Podunajské Biskupice, Bratislava. Two of them were in the garage. Auto parts and the oil industry were also on fire. The owner of the car service provisionally incurred damages of 25,000 euros. The Fire and Rescue Service (HaZZ) informs about it on the social network.

“Firefighters responding in self-contained breathing apparatus simultaneously with extinguishing work cooled barrels with oil and watered hidden fires,” brought closer by HaZZ. After the fire was extinguished, the area was examined with a thermal camera. The cause of the fire was negligent conduct. No one was injured in the fire.

Responding firefighters with their activity, according to HaZZ, they saved property worth 50,000 euros. 15 members of the fire and rescue department of the capital city intervened in the event with four pieces of equipment.
