A home aroma diffuser is a practical and cheap solution that can be prepared in just a few minutes easily available ingredients. Its operation is based on the use of a small container with water, baking soda and natural essential oil. Wooden sticks are placed in the vessel, which absorb the mixture and gradually release the aroma into the surroundings. Thanks to this, the scent is even and long-lasting, exceeding the effectiveness of many commercial spray fresheners. Moreover, such a diffuser is an ecological way of providing fresh air that can be easily renewed, when the scent loses intensity.
The process of making a homemade air freshener is extremely simple and does not require special skills. First, choose a stable, glass or ceramic vessel of appropriate height that can accommodate several sticks. Pour about half a glass of water into the container, then add half a teaspoon, stirring thoroughly until it dissolves. Then add from a few to a dozen or so drops of essential oil, depending on preferred scent intensity. Finally, we insert wooden sticks, for example those used for skewers, which should be turned over after a few minutes to soak the mixture on both sides. A diffuser prepared in this way works for many days, and when necessary, it can be easily refilled with a new portion of the scented mixture.
