Washington – The Republicans in the US Congress have presented a new draft to avert the impending budget freeze in the USA. US President-elect Donald Trump wrote on Thursday in his online service Truth Social of a “success in Washington”. “A very good agreement for the American people” has now been reached. As he requested, the new text stipulates that the national debt ceiling will remain suspended until January 2027.
