At least thirteen people died and three others were injured this Friday after the head-on collision of a truck and a minibus-type vehicle on the highway that connects the Bolivian regions of La Paz and Oruro.
The accident occurred in the afternoon near the Ajoya community, about 64 kilometers from the city of La Paz, the departmental director of La Paz Transit, Colonel Marco Céspedes, explained to the media. “The minibus was making the journey from Oruro to La Paz and was surprised by this van that collided head-on,” said Céspedes.
