The president stated in a video published this Saturday (21), that Brazil is experiencing, for “concrete facts”, an exceptional moment from the point of view of economic growth, job creation and trade. “In other words, everything is working,” said the president in a video, in which he thanked his team of ministers, who were at Palácio do Alvorada on Friday (20).
“It is this country that we want to deliver back to Brazilian society: a better country economically, better socially, better from an industrial point of view, better from the point of view of respectability, better from the point of view of education”, he told his followers auxiliaries. He also stated that he has “all the willingness in the world to work”. “I think we have a mission in this country, we are committed to improving the lives of these people, it is our greatest commitment and to deliver this country growing”, stated Lula.
This Friday, the president also held an end-of-year lunch with his ministers and government leaders. The next president of the Central Bank, appointed by Lula, also participated in the meeting. Just yesterday, a video alongside him and the ministers of Finance, Fernando Haddad, of Planning, Simone Tebet, and of the Civil House, Rui Costa, in which he said that Galípolo will be the head of the monetary authority with “more autonomy” than the institution already had.
