Brazilian Cristian Ribera won, this Friday (20), his third gold medal in the Para Ski Cross Country World Cup, which is being held in Vuokatti (Finland). The Brazilian team’s last victory was in the mass start 10 km race, completing the route in 28min27s3.

Ribera’s first gold in the competition held in Vuokatti came, last Tuesday (17), in the men’s sprint event, in which the Brazilian overcame the Chinese Liu Zixu and Liu Mengtao to take the gold medal.

The Brazilian athlete’s second golden achievement was achieved last Thursday (19), this time in the distance 10 km race in the sitting category. In a very close race, Ribera completed the course in 30min59s3, sharing first place with the Chinese Peng Zheng, who finished the distance in the same time. Chinese Zhongwu Mao completed the podium in third place.
