Collaboration, launched in 2020, will focus on innovation, sustainability and social engagement
Sport Club Internacional and Adidas on Friday (20.Dec.2024) extended their partnership contract until the 2029 season. The collaboration between the two institutions, which began in 2020, was renewed with an emphasis on innovation, sustainability and social engagement.
Since the beginning of the partnership, Internacional has adopted Adidas’ 3 stripes. The renewal of the contract aims to expand this collaboration beyond uniforms, covering men’s and women’s football and the youth teams.
The partnership has been marked by impactful campaigns and actions. The black consciousness shirt, the originals line, the fan jersey and the embarrada shirt stand out. The latter brought support to the victims of the tragedy in Rio Grande do Sul in 2024.
“We had the opportunity with Internacional to go far beyond the launch of uniforms, valuing cultural and social issues and promoting diversity and inclusion. In the next cycle, we want to further strengthen the partnership, expanding the product portfolio and maintaining this fundamental connection beyond sport”, said Olivier Gianina, general director of Adidas in Brazil.
“Adidas has become part of our identity. Together, we created moments that marked the Club’s history and inspired our fans. This renewal reflects the ambition and commitment we share with our fans. Together, we build a legacy that unites tradition, innovation and social impact”, declared Marcos Silveira, Executive Director of Marketing and Revenue at Sport Club Internacional.
“The renovation is the result of the work of teams from both companies: Inter and Adidas. With ambitious goals for both, the objective is to serve our athletes and our fans even better”, said Nelson Pires, Inter’s Vice-President of Marketing, highlighting the teams’ joint work.
