The radio presenter was arrested this Friday (20), in (ES), after breaking the electronic ankle bracelet and recording a video of attacks on the minister, of the (Supreme Federal Court).
He had been on the run since November 24, when Moraes ordered the radio presenter returned to prison for violating precautionary measures.
Roque Saldanha was arrested in January 2023 for participating in the . According to the accusation, the radio host used social media to call for violent acts against STF ministers after the defeat of Jair Bolsonaro (PL) in the presidential elections.
Saldanha was imprisoned for ten days last year and, since then, he had to comply with a series of precautionary measures, such as wearing an electronic ankle bracelet and not leaving his city.
The radio host came into the spotlight after recording a video, at the end of November, in which he showed his ankle bracelet and justified its removal because of wounds on his leg.
He used the video to attack Moraes. “You should be embarrassed and learn to become a man, boy,” said Saldanha before adding a series of swear words.
