All monitored sections of highways and expressways in Slovakia are passable on Saturday morning. The road surface is dry to wet. The Slovak Road Administration (SSC) informed about it on its website zjazdnost.sk.
First, second and third class roads are also passable. The road surface is mostly dry to wet. “In higher elevations, there is rarely a layer of fresh, slushy or frozen snow one to two centimeters thick on the roads. There is ice on third-class roads in the Námestovo district,” said the SSC.
Mountain passes (HP) are also skiable. The road surface is dry to wet. HP Huty, Makov and Oravská Lesná sometimes have the road surface covered with fresh snow one to two centimeters thick and HP Podspády is sometimes covered with icy snow two centimeters thick.
