According to the editor’s findings, the perpetrator is said to be from Saudi Arabia and to be about 50 years old. He is not known to the German authorities as an Islamist. As reported by Bildu, the man was supposed to work as a doctor at a clinic in Magdeburg. There are 60 to 80 injured and, according to the media, at least 11 dead. Saxony-Anhalt Prime Minister Reiner Erich Haseloff confirmed the death of two people, including a toddler.
