Three people died after a house collapsed due to rain in Várzea Paulista, in the metropolitan region of São Paulo.
Among the victims, according to Civil Defense, are two children and their mother. The agency also reported that seven people were rescued.
In addition to Civil Defense, teams from the Emergency Medical Assistance Service (SAMU), Municipal Civil Defense, Fire Department, Military Police and geologists from the Environmental Research Institute (IPA) assist in the searches.
