“Balada Eventos, the company that manages the career of singer Gusttavo Lima, informs that the performance scheduled for this Saturday (21/12), at the VillaMix Festival (in São Paulo, capital), is canceled due to the artist’s health”, begins the note published on social media.

“Gusttavo Lima arrived in Brazil this morning exclusively for the event. At around 2pm, he had gastrointestinal discomfort and was treated. But, at the end of the afternoon, he needed to be taken to a hospital for further care. The singer remains hospitalized for tests and necessary treatment,” the statement ends.

In a statement, the medical team at Vila Nova Star hospital stated that the countryman’s clinical condition is “stable”. “Singer Gusttavo Lima was admitted to the Emergency Room at Rede D’Or’s Vila Nova Star Hospital on Saturday night, 12/21, with intestinal pain and should remain under observation overnight. The clinical picture is stable”, says the text.

“Warfield”

Country singer Gusttavo Lima opened up about his political position in a recent interview and stated that he is right-wing because of the “values” taught by his father and mother. However, the artist highlighted that he respects people from other political spheres and that his best friend is a PT member. “I arrive at his house, there’s an autographed Lula cap,” he said.

Gusttavo Lima spoke with senator and presenter Jorge Kajuru and said that he does not consider himself extreme right-wing. “It’s not that I’m right-wing extremist, wait, these are values that my father and mother taught me, I’m not going to change that. I’m not going to sell this, but I know how to live cordially with everyone, I get along with everyone, I respect everyone, all classes”, he began.

Gusttavo Lima then highlighted, however, that he thinks Brazil is becoming a “warfield”. “I am a person who came from nothing and I know how hard life is, and it is hard for everyone. I know how cruel life was to me. And we have to respect everyone and hope that things work out for everyone. Unfortunately, Brazil is becoming this, a battlefield”, he said.
