Former governor of Espírito Santo Paulo Hartung, 67 years old, signaled the possibility of running again in the election for the state government in a post on his Instagram profile on Friday (Dec 20, 2024).
Without openly expressing his intention, Hartung took a bike ride in Espírito Santo with the song “Tô Voltando” (1979), by singer Simone.
O Poder360 contacted Paulo Hartung to confirm his intention to run in 2026, but did not receive a response until the publication of this report. The space remains open.
Hartung was governor of Espírito Santo for 3 terms: from 2003 to 2011 and from 2015 to 2019. Before. he had been a state senator (1999 to 2003) and mayor of Vitória (1993 to 1997).
On December 10, one showed that Hartung would have 17.0% of voting intentions in the 1st round for the Espírito Santo government. He appears behind only the current mayor, (Republicans), who totaled 22.4%.
