A car accident occurred on the R1 expressway in Banská Bystrica on Sunday morning. They closed the expressway at the exit from the city in the direction of Brezno. TASR was informed about this by the operations center of the Regional Directorate of the Fire and Rescue Service (HaZZ) in Banská Bystrica.
On the expressway in the direction of Brezno, there was an accident with one car, which ended up overturned on its roof. “Employees of HaZZ freed one person from the crashed vehicle, who is being treated by the emergency medical service,” the firemen added, adding that the expressway is closed in the direction of Brezno.
