Authorities say small aircraft collided with building, store and debris hit inn
A small plane this Sunday (Dec 22, 2024) in the center of Gramado (RS). A security camera video shows the exact moment of the accident. According to the recording, it was around 9:13 am.
The images record an explosion, recorded near a local supermarket. People are surprised and come out of stores and cars to see the flames.

A says 15 people were taken to hospital. The National Civil Defense said 10 people were on the aircraft. According to the state governor (PSDB), none of them survived.
Authorities report that the accident occurred in the following sequence:
- plane crashes into the chimney of a building;
- reaches the 2nd floor of a house;
- falls into the furniture store;
- debris hits inn.
The aircraft almost missed hitting a gas station nearby. There is no total number of confirmed deaths.

There was only one person in the house, who was not injured because he was on the 1st floor. At least two were rescued from the inn and taken to the local hospital.
