State deputies who are part of the Brazilian Parliamentary Front (Legislative Assembly of the State of São Paulo) are organizing for a Taiwanese electric bus company to set up shop on the coast of São Paulo.
The delegation, which spent five days in Taiwan at the invitation of Taiwanese authorities, is made up of state deputies Tenente Coimbra (PL-SP), André Bueno (PL) and Vitão do Cachorrão (Republicans) and chaired by deputy Gil Diniz (PL).
Initially, the electric bus company intended to expand its operation in , but deputy Lieutenant Coimbra seeks for the company to establish itself in Baixada Santos. “It is possible to build an industrial complex in São Paulo, to expand investments and develop our state”, says Coimbra.
“I am, from now on, requesting that a city on the coast be included with the industrial park. We will generate jobs and bring more cutting-edge technology to Brazil. It will also be an opportunity for the municipalities of São Paulo to begin the bus transition to electric combustion.”
