The mother-in-law of businessman Luiz Claudio Salgueiro Galeazzi, pilot and owner of the plane that crashed in Gramado, Rio Grande do Sul, published a photo of the family together on social media the day before the tragedy.
In the images, Lilian Natucci shared a photo with her grandchildren with the caption: “Christmas in Gramado”. Through the comments, one of the teenagers, identified as Maria Eduarda Galeazzi, wrote: “I love you, grandma”.
According to people close to the family, all the people in the photo were on the plane and died in the tragedy. Businessman Luiz Caudio Galeazzi, owner of the aircraft, was piloting it at the time of the accident. The family left Canela (RS) and was heading to Jundiaí, in the interior of São Paulo, on a trip.
The man was the first confirmed victim and was traveling with his wife, three daughters, mother-in-law, another couple and two children.
Investigation into plane crash in Gramado
In a statement, the Center for Investigation and Prevention of Aeronautical Accidents (Cenipa), of the Brazilian Air Force (FAB), reported that the case is being investigated by the Fifth Regional Service for Investigation and Prevention of Aeronautical Accidents (SERIPA V), located in Canoas , in RS.
“In the Initial Action, specific techniques are used, conducted by qualified and accredited personnel who carry out the collection and confirmation of data, the preservation of elements, the initial verification of damage caused to the aircraft, or by the aircraft, and the collection of other necessary information to the investigation”, informed the FAB.
