PT President said he did not ask to have his name included in electoral research for Planalto; “PT’s name is Lula”, he stated
The president of PT, (PR), said this Monday (Dec 23, 2024) that she will not be a candidate for president in 2026 in a publication on X (formerly Twitter).
The post is a response to a newspaper report The Globe informing that the company Paraná Pesquisa will use the federal deputy as one of the candidates in January. In addition to Gleisi, the name of the governor of São Paulo, (Republicans), and the former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro (PL) will also be tested.
The PT member stated that the party’s candidate will be the current president (PT). She also wrote that she did not ask to have her name included in the research.
