This Sunday, December 22nd, another ‘Secret Story’ gala was aired, led by Cristina Ferreira, on TVI.
As usual, the program’s former contestants were present at the gala, however Ruben was absent.
Before the program even started, and in order to anticipate rumors, the young man decided to speak out through his Instagram account, where he shared a video.
“I came by to let you know that we won’t be at the gala today, I have a bit of a cold, I’m all stuffed up, I’m a bit sick and so we thought it would be a good idea to stay here this weekend”he began by saying.
Ruben said that he might be present at the next gala and left one last caveat: “So, if you don’t see us there, don’t be surprised because we will be watching from home”.
During the gala, the former competitor was ‘flooded’ with messages and decided to speak out again: “Guys, the reason I didn’t go to the gala is in my stories (just because I’m tired of receiving messages asking where I’m going)”.
