The power of vitamins and minerals on a plate. The healthy salad is delicious

What does it consist of? healthy salad? Of course, only from products that are valuable for health. There are root vegetables rich in carotenoids and fiber, sprouts full of vitamins and minerals, as well as tuna, an excellent source of protein. The dressing contains olive oil (contains omega fatty acids) and products with antibiotic properties – honey and garlic.

The salad – as the name suggests – is best prepared from unprocessed vegetables, but if you don’t like the specific taste of raw beets, cook or bake them.

  • 2 beets,
  • 3 carrots,
  • 50 g bean sprouts,
  • 1 can of tuna,
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil,
  • 2 tablespoons of lime juice,
  • 1 teaspoon of mustard,
  • 1 teaspoon of liquid honey,
  • 1 clove of garlic,
  • salt, freshly ground pepper.

Combine olive oil, lime juice, mustard and honey. Add pressed garlic. Mix. Season the dressing with salt and pepper.

Peel the beets and cook in lightly salted water until soft. Cool. Grate on a coarse grater (use latex gloves to prevent the beets from staining the skin of your hands). Peel the carrots and grate them on a coarse grater. Mix with beets. Add the drained tuna and sprouts to the bowl with the vegetables.

Mix all ingredients. Drizzle with dressing.
