Brazilian took advantage of a mini break at Real Madrid to go to the United States

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti said after the team ended 2024 with a 4-2 victory over Sevilla on Sunday (22) that he was concerned about the athletes’ physical health. “Now, the main thing is rest. We have drawn up an individual program for the players. They need to rest and enjoy time with their families. We will return well, motivated and with renewed energy,” said Ancelotti.
The first to benefit from Real Madrid’s “individual program” was Brazilian striker Vini Jr., who did not play on Sunday due to being suspended. Unable to take the field at the Santiago Bernabéu, the Brazilian was released early for the mini break. The winner of The Best award traveled to the USA and was at the Hard Rock Stadium to see the Miami Dolphins win over the San Francisco 49ers 29-17 in the National Football League (NFL).
On social media, the Miami Dolphins celebrated the appearance of the striker, recently voted the best player in the world by FIFA. “The best in the world! It’s always great to have you in our house, Vini”, wrote the team.
During the season, it was common during press conferences to hear Ancelotti talking about the importance of giving athletes time off. “The players need to rest, they need a vacation,” said the coach more than once. “A player may not play for a week to be with his family, especially foreigners, who have very little rest. We are valuing the medical department and physical preparation.”
Real Madrid ended 2024 with 40 points in the Spanish Championship, surpassing Barcelona (38) in the standings and reaching second place, with one point behind Atlético de Madrid. “We finished the year well and we are looking forward to returning in 2025. We need to be prepared, because on January 3rd we face Valencia,” said Ancelotti.
