As a result, the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock published forecasts for the summer of 2025. The document also points out that the phenomenon is expected to lose strength in April.

Even though the direct effects of La Niña affect the oceans, the state of Acre is also impacted by the changes caused by changes in water temperature, as due to the meteorological event, rainfall is expected to increase in the state.

The tendency is for the level of rainfall for the first quarter of 2025 to equal, or exceed, what is currently expected, as well as the increase in average air temperature by around 0.5ºC throughout the northern region, considering the historical average for the period analyzed.
