North Korean hackers stole millions of dollars in Bitcoin in Japan

Tokyo – North Korean hackers have stolen millions of dollars in digital currencies, according to Japanese and US sources. As Japanese police announced on Tuesday, more than $300 million (around €288 million) in cryptocurrencies were stolen from the Japanese crypto exchange DMM Bitcoin. The crime was committed by the TraderTraitor group. According to the US Federal Police FBI, these are “North Korean cyber actors”.
