2024 DECORATION

The White House has its traditional Christmas decorations for the festivities. The 2024 “White House Holiday Exposition” is themed “a season of peace and light.”

In total, 83 Christmas trees, nearly 2 miles of ribbon, more than 28,000 ornaments and more than 2,200 doves were used to make this year’s White House Christmas decorations.

Additionally, more than 165,000 holiday lights decorate trees, garlands and wreaths. It took more than 300 volunteers from across the country working for an entire week to decorate the interior and exterior of the White House.
