São Paulo announced this Tuesday afternoon (24) the signing of midfielder Oscar, 33.
Earlier, the club’s president, Julio Casares, had already posted a photo next to the player on his Instagram and called him a “super-reinforcement”.
Formed in São Paulo’s youth categories, Oscar joined the professional team in 2008, leaving the club in 2010, heading to Internacional. The exit was troubled, through the courts, and he left São Paulo without scoring even a goal as a professional.
He stayed in Porto Alegre, where he did well, until 2012, when he left for Chelsa, in England. At the end of 2016 he went to Chinese football, where he played, always on the same team (Shangai Port) until the beginning of this month.
Oscar also defended the Brazilian team from the youth teams. In the 2014 World Cup, he scored Brazil’s only goal in the 7-1 defeat against Germany in the semi-finals.
