Apple’s doorbell should be able to open front doors via Face ID

Apple is apparently developing a new doorbell that can recognize faces and open doors automatically. The function is based on Face ID technology, which is already used in other Apple devices such as the iPhone. The doorbell is intended to be wirelessly connected to smart door locks and could either be compatible with existing models or offered as a complete system in collaboration with a lock manufacturer.
