Christmas doesn’t necessarily go well for everyone. And it’s not just family arguments that sometimes shatter the joy and good humor of the festivities. Jenifer can attest to this.
Jenifer doesn’t only have good memories of Christmas and her problem has probably already happened to you…
For several days now, the trees have been out in living rooms, the streets are lit up with magnificent Christmas decorations and the store windows make you want to slide everything that is there under the tree. You probably haven’t missed the fact that Christmas has arrived. A festival that makes young and old alike dream and whose magic generally lifts the spirits of everyone.
How good it is to snuggle up by the fire, blanket on your knees, woolen sweater on your shoulders, a cup of hot chocolate in your hands when the temperatures freeze your bodies outside. How comforting it is to enjoy festive products. Often on the menu: foie gras, smoked salmon, turkey or capon, chestnuts, cheese, log and chocolates. Obviously, it’s difficult not to leave the table (if you manage to leave it of course) without feeling overwhelmed. And even the stars are not spared.
Jenifer victim of food poisoning at Christmas
The singer, who recently made her return to Star Academy, paid the price. Maybe she hadn’t eaten too much but that’s good the meal she ate that evening that caused her worry. As she said in an interview with Gala in December 2022, the victim of a rather embarrassing health problem: “Food poisoning on Christmas Eve! I found myself in bed before the presents opened. Honestly, I have such bad memories of this food poisoning that it will remain the worst memory of Christmas.“
However, fortunately this did not put her off the festivities. It would even be quite the opposite, she who loves celebrating this holiday with her family and who has a very precise idea of what she expects from it: “Even if every year I have the chance to have a lovely Christmas, I would love to find myself in a Christmas TV movie, like we see on television, with the little snowy village, the bakery that smells of gingerbread, the smiling people, the pretty lights and the wooden chalet with a fireplace in the snow.“Let’s hope that one day this wish will be granted.
