Large-scale operation after an avalanche near Innsbruck

Innsbruck – An avalanche below the Hafelekar mountain station in the Innsbruck Nordkette triggered a large-scale operation by rescue workers on the morning of Christmas Day. For the time being, it remained unclear whether and how many people could be caught.
