Between January and December 2024, 3,735 wild animals were cared for by stations affiliated with the Water and Land Institute (IAT), such as the Wildlife Support Centers (CAFS) and the Wild Animal Screening Center (CETAS).

In another 1,044 cases, the action was direct through the IAT fauna team in Curitiba, with 723 assistance to animals resulting from seizures, 214 rescues and 107 voluntary surrenders.
