Our beloved Jorge Aragão’s Christmas Eve lunch started early this Tuesday, and at one of the most traditional spots in Lapa, the famous Bar do Adalto, on Rua Joaquim Silva.

Aragão, who every now and then stops by to eat breaded gizzards at Casa Porto, in Largo da Prainha, this time went to the Center to eat Adalto’s oxtail.
He passed by here a while ago on the way out of Beco do Rato and called me a few weeks ago saying he would be back to eat the oxtail. And today he appeared by surprise”, said Adalto.
