Ukraine’s state energy operator, Ukrenergo, reported having carried out preventive cuts across the country due to the attack, leading to the interruption of electricity supplies in several districts.

According to Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Halushchenk, measures were taken to limit consumption in order to minimize negative consequences for the system.

“As soon as the security situation allows, energy workers will determine the damage caused,” he added.
