Vera Viel, 49, wife of Rodrigo Faro, 51, celebrated her last radiotherapy session, this Tuesday (24), alongside the presenter and her daughters, Helena, 11, Maria, 16, and Clara, 19.

“33/33! Today, on the eve of Jesus’ birthday, I celebrate a priceless gift: my healing. On this very significant day, I had my last radiotherapy session and I couldn’t be more grateful!”, began Vera in the caption of the Instagram post.

“God was my strength at every step of this challenging journey, and I know that his hand was with me at all times. Having my family by my side was essential for my healing! They are my foundation, sustaining me with love, courage and faith, and giving me strength to move forward in the most difficult times”, continued Vera.

“Today, I thank God for giving me life and a chance to be reborn, just as we celebrate the birth of Christ. I want to especially thank Dr. Osmar @osmarbneto and his team, who were true angels in this process. A merry Christmas to everyone! May this be a time of hope, faith and renewal!”, concluded Rodrigo Faro’s wife.

In October, the woman from Faro discovered a rare tumor on her thigh and underwent surgery to remove the lump in October this year.

Since removing the tumor from her leg, the businesswoman has described the care needed in the recovery process. She is already at the end of the total of 33 radiotherapy sessions she will undergo.

The surgery to remove the tumor was carried out on the 11th of the same month as the announcement. Although it lasted more than eight hours, the procedure was uneventful.
