Singer Zeca Pagodinho, 65, published photos and videos of the moment he went to the Xerém neighborhood, in Duque de Caxias, Rio de Janeiro, to distribute Christmas gifts to local children.

In the clicks, Zeca appeared in a Santa Claus hat and posed alongside the little ones.
Zeca Pagodinho announced, on December 13th, that he will take a break from his career after the end of the tour celebrating his 40th anniversary. The information was confirmed to CNN by the company that provides press relations for “Zeca Pagodinho — 40 Anos”.
The owner of hits such as “Seu Balancê” and “Deixa A Vida Me Levar” will also perform three shows on the tour before taking five months off to dedicate himself to his family and six grandchildren. Zeca sings this Friday (13th) and Saturday (14th), at Vibra São Paulo, and then heads to Rio de Janeiro, where he will end the sequence of performances with a show at Farmasi Arena, on December 21st.
The “Zeca Pagodinho — 40 Anos” tour began on June 21, in the capital of São Paulo, with a performance at Espaço Unimed. Since then, the artist has visited 13 cities and performed 17 shows, as well as a themed cruise.
The celebrations also included an audiovisual project recorded in February at the Nilton Santos stadium, Engenhão, in Rio de Janeiro. Zeca welcomed guests such as Djonga, Seu Jorge, Xande de Pilares and Jorge Aragão and sang classics such as “Verdade” and “Coração em Desalinho”, along with songs that he doesn’t usually bring to his recent shows, such as “Exaustino” and “Vacilão”. .
The project featured the musical direction of Paulão Sete Cordas, a long-time partner of the samba singer, and musical production by Pretinho da Serrinha.
