The Public Ministry asked the Military Police to open an investigation into the person responsible for the Esplanada dos Ministérios, suggesting that the major who worked in aligning his defense with that of the then general commander of the PM.
The request was made this Thursday (26) by the prosecutor of the Public Ministry of the Federal District Flávio Milhomem to the General Inspector of the PM-DF, Colonel Leonardo Siqueira dos Santos, starting this Wednesday (25).
In unpublished audios, Lieutenant Colonel Kelly Cezário proposes that Major Flávio Alencar’s lawyer seek the defense of the former general commander of the PM-DF Fábio Augusto and his former aide-de-camp, Captain Josiel Pereira César.
Alencar was at the head of the 6th battalion of the DF Military Police, known as Batalhão dos Poderes, on January 8, 2023 because Kelly (his commander) had been on vacation since the 3rd. Alencar is from the DF by default.
Kelly was not charged in the case and there is no news that she is being investigated (but there are confidential investigations). She was contacted by the report, but there was no response. The lieutenant colonel left the 6th battalion after the coup attack and is now operations supervisor at the Integrated Operations Center of the DF Public Security Secretariat.
