Enel, an energy distributor in the State of São Paulo, reported this Thursday (Dec 26, 2024) that 23.5 thousand customers are without electricity. The number was updated at 10:30 am. The company considers that the light supply is normalized and “within standard”. And he stated that the rains on Wednesday (Dec 25) did not affect energy distribution.
The government of São Paulo mobilized the crisis office in person to monitor the rains in the State this Thursday (Dec 26). The office had been working remotely since Tuesday (Dec 24). According to civil defense, the most critical regions are: North Coast; Paraíba Valley; South Coast; Capital of São Paulo; São Paulo Metropolitan Region; Campinas Region; Sorocaba; and Bauru.
