Belarus will receive Russian hypersonic ballistic missiles

Lukashenko, Belarusian head of state, a recognized ally of Moscow, reported that if Russia intends to “install more” missiles in Belarus, his country will also accept them.

“I think, for now, [vamos receber] a dozen and then we’ll see,” Lukashenko said at the Eurasian Economic Union summit in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

The Belarusian head of state, a recognized ally of Moscow, also added that, if Russia intends to “install more” missiles in Belarus, his country will also accept them.

Russian President Vladimir Putin had already stated that the Targets targeted by missiles deployed in Belarus could be defined by Minsk.

The head of the Kremlin (Russian presidency) also detailed that the delivery of the ‘Oreshnik’ missiles to his ally it would only be possible in the second half of 2025.

Russia shot hypersonic missiles in November

On November 21, the Russia fired new ‘Oreshnik’ hypersonic missiles for the first time against a factory in Dnipro, in southeastern Ukraine, arguing at the time that the maneuver was a response to the use of Western weapons against Russian territory.

At the time, the Russian leader stated that he had tested in combat conditions “one of the latest Russian medium-range missile systems”, which cannot be intercepted by any air defense system.

Since then, the Russia did not use the ‘Oreshnik’ hypersonic missiles in Ukraine again.

In response to bombings against its infrastructures and cities, Ukraine intensified attacks on Russian energy installations to disrupt the logistics of Moscow’s army, which still occupies almost 20% of Ukrainian territory.
