Whipping cream may seem easy, but anyone who has ever done it knows that this seemingly simple task can cost us a lot of nerves. That’s why we have prepared step-by-step instructions for you on how to do it. How to make good whipped cream? Above all use whipping cream with a fat content of at least 30%no less. Make sure that the cream is well chilledbefore you start whipping. If you have made purchases, avoid situations in which the cream is at room temperature, as whipping it will not be effective.

The bowl in which you will beat it must be dry. Wipe it well, just like the mixer tips. It is best if the bowl is chilled. Whip 500 ml of cream with two tablespoons of powdered sugar (you can also do without it if you prefer a natural taste). Mix at medium or high speed. If you want to stiffen the whipped cream more, add whipped cream fix powder and mix with powdered sugar for about 2 minutes. By this time it should be thick and stiff. Be careful not to mix for too long as it may curdle.

What to do if the cream curdles? This question may arise when something didn’t go as planned. However, not all is lost – there are ways to save even the most stubborn product. If you have the impression that the cream does not whip and remains liquid, it is best to put the bowl in the refrigerator. During this time, you can dissolve any flavor of jelly in 300 ml of boiling water. When it begins to thicken slightly, mix it with liquid cream. Put the mixture in the fridge, and when it starts to set, pour it over the sponge cakes, arrange fresh fruit on top and pour the previously prepared jelly – this way you will create a delicious cold cheesecake.

If the cream curdles completelywhich means that the buttery part will separate from the liquid part, put everything into a pot and heat over low heat until the cream returns to liquid form. Then add a flat spoon of gelatin dissolved in 50 ml of water, mix and put in the fridge. After about 2 hours, the mass should harden. Take it out of the fridge, remove any lumps and you can use the finished mass, e.g. to spread sponge cakes, and then pour jelly over them.

If small semolina-like lumps appear during mixing, do not continue mixing. Add 2 tablespoons of thick cream or sweetened condensed milk, mix gently and the cream will be saved. Whipped cream prepared in this way will help you add variety and delight every guest.
